2. Information we collect
- Account details: when you use Google sign-in, we may receive your account identifier, name, email address and profile information made available through that sign-in process.
- Business-report inputs: business name, website, market/location and service category, plus other information you choose to submit.
- Report and purchase records: report requests, generated results, account entitlements, transaction identifiers, payment status and support correspondence.
- Technical information: information needed to operate and secure the website and services, which may include device/browser information, IP address, timestamps, error logs and session or browser-storage data.
3. How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, run requested checks, generate and make reports available, process purchases, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, provide customer support, and improve service reliability and quality. We may use aggregated or de-identified operational information to understand service performance.
4. AI platforms and other service providers
To perform a requested report, business-related inputs and test prompts may be transmitted to third-party AI or search providers, which may process the submitted information under their own terms and privacy practices. Do not include confidential, sensitive or unnecessary personal information in report inputs.
We use Google/Firebase for supported sign-in and account services, Stripe for payment processing, and hosting/infrastructure providers, including Cloudflare where applicable, to deliver the service. These providers may process information needed to perform their functions. We do not ask you to enter full payment-card details directly into Klick Local report forms; card payment data is handled through the payment provider's checkout flow.
5. Browser storage and cookies
Our website may use browser storage, cookies or similar technologies for sign-in sessions, preferences, security and app functionality. Third-party sign-in and payment providers may also use their own cookies or similar technologies. Browser settings can control some storage, but disabling essential storage may prevent features from working.
6. Sharing and disclosure
We share information with providers as needed to deliver requested services, with your direction or consent, and when legally required or necessary to protect rights, safety and service security. We do not claim to sell personal information as part of the Klick Local business model. This statement should be reviewed if advertising, tracking or data-sharing practices change.
7. Retention and security
We retain account, report, payment-status and support information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes and protect against misuse. Specific retention periods may vary by data type and provider. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
You can contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information associated with your Klick Local account, subject to verification and applicable legal or operational retention requirements. You may also ask about information associated with your reports. We will review and respond to requests consistent with applicable law.
9. Children
Klick Local is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. Please contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information to the service.
10. External websites and policy changes
Links to external services are governed by their respective policies. We may update this Privacy Policy as our services or data practices change; the effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes may receive additional notice when appropriate.
