2. Klick Local Chrome Extension
The Klick Local Chrome extension provides a convenient way for a user to begin a Klick Local visibility check for the website the user is currently viewing.
What the Chrome extension accesses
When you intentionally open the Klick Local Chrome extension, the extension uses Chrome's activeTab permission to identify the URL of the website in your currently active browser tab.
The current website URL is displayed in the extension so you can confirm which website you want to check.
When you choose “Check This Business”, that website URL is passed to KlickLocal.com so it can be used to begin the visibility-checking workflow you requested.
The Klick Local Chrome extension does not continuously monitor your browsing activity or collect a history of websites you visit in the background.
The extension accesses the active website only when you invoke the extension. It does not use the activeTab permission to monitor unrelated browsing activity.
The Chrome extension does not itself automatically run paid AI tests, make purchases, or initiate paid services simply because the extension is opened.
